Welcome!

This is my website. If you’re seeing this from the homepage, you should know that this is the first of many blog posts to come, as my blog is pretty much the reason I wanted this site to exist.
Why This Exists, and What to Expect
I wanted to have a website for a couple of key reasons: The first is that I have intensely desired to write outside of the constraints or pressure of doing something for the sake of a video. Going forward, my blog will contain essays on media I’ve been thinking about lately, as well as aspects of art, culture, entertainment, and whatever else is on my mind, in addition to updates on how my life and career have been going. Social media poses intense restrictions and forces people to be too succinct about complex things, and while I could continue to post about these things in my YouTube community tab – I would much rather have a space to myself, just as the internet used to be.
This leads to my other reason for establishing this site – I intensely dislike social media as it exists today. It is designed to be addictive, and built to keep people in a state of information overload as they constantly seek out validation and knowledge in an endless stream. It’s one thing to want to stay informed, but I don’t think humans were built to be exposed to this endlessly flowing stream of info and dopamine we see big websites focusing on today. I’m specifically calling out Shorts, Reels, and TikTok. Short-form content being scrolled endlessly is dangerously addictive, and I will likely never make videos in that style. Not only that, but engagement for the sake of meaningless recognition has also led to sites like Twitter and Instagram becoming thoroughly unenjoyable sites to use, and they’ve been that way for years. I wanted out, and now I have a compelling reason.
At the end of the day, writing began for me as a hobby, and though I have made a career out of it – I want to retain my love for it however I can, and I see this website as necessary for that to happen.
Site Features
At the top, you’ll see a marquee. Inspired by my time playing Phantasy Star Online, this acts as an alert when new videos are live or imminent, it updates you on new Nebula videos, and new blog posts will be linked to as well (even though they will always be the first thing you see on the site’s homepage). I also plan on updating it with little messages every now and then!
The Videos tab is exactly as it sounds. You can scroll through my most recent videos, updated with each new YouTube upload, just like the Latest Video panel.
The Blog allows you to view all of my posts by date. Posts also have tags, which allow you to search for specific posts by category. To search for content, you can use the search bar below the site banner (which also acts as a home button!)
The Guestbook lets you leave a little comment on how much you enjoy or hate my website. If you’re indifferent to it, then that’s fine too.
My Links allows you to see all of my official pages on the internet. Or, you know, all of the pages I could remember and wanted to show off.
Contact lets you reach out to me directly. This is the best way to contact me. Reaching out in direct messages on social media will not always guarantee a reply.
Credits gives credit to awesome people who I would be nothing without. Speaking of which…
This website exists thanks to Stormagi! Thank you so much for your hard work.
There’s more to this website, too! In the bottom right corner, you’ll see a music button, which I feel completes the vibe of the site. Currently, it’s set to play Nightfall from Shenmue. There might also be a secret page hidden somewhere here if you look closely…

I hope you keep up to date with my website! This is going to be the central hub for all of my online activity moving forward!
i just got nostalgia flashbanged
We must turn back
Hi Liam!
It looks amazing and was really surprised, when you wrote about PSO. I just bought ver.2 for the dreamcast and want to hook it online, so that I can experience it the way it was so many years ago 🙂
I immediately shared the news of your site with friends who don’t know of you nor would I think they’d the interest to pay attention. I was simply so excited though, I had to tell people!
I adore the vision here and agree with all points made in your first blog post. Amazing work on the web design, Stormagi!
I have a teary-eyed level of respect and admiration for the passion and vulnerability you share with your audience. Your scripts are worded so articulately. I aspire to someday voice my thoughts and experiences with your level of mindfulness and to a following who appreciates that kind of composure. You’re sincerity is what the web requires.
Hi. I’ve been collecting for Dreamcast lately. I got Space Channel 5 today.
Ah this is awesome
I was unfortunately born after the age of the Internet that had small blogs like this in every corner but I’m so down to follow this one! I hope this goes on for a long time.
I wrote a short message to you on Bsky, but since you said that you don’t read other platforms as much I’ll just say that I really enjoyed your Sega Saturn video after being reminded of your videos when I saw you on the TMG guest page. Looking forward to meeting you there
Also all fellow Toon Link fans are friends of mine if that isn’t obvious so you have good tastes
(I sometimes draw and I do use a more anime style, but I won’t go into detail for time sake)
I’ve recently been collecting for the Dreamcast. I currently have 10 games
more websites should have birds flying around in the background
Has anyone ever played the Lunar series?
Finally a website that feel like a place i can visit again, I love your content keep up the great work
